FTE COLORADO
Mason, Rob, and James drive into Colorado after leaving Amarillo and meet up with their friend Jason Lorenz. Many skateparks were ridden, mountains were partially climbed, cities were explored, and great food was eaten. We also slept in a garage at one point. Huge thanks to Jason for the tour of your beautiful state and the hospitality!
FTE AUSTIN/AMARILLO
We got into Austin and had a thousand things we wanted to do so we ended up staying for 2 days to ride several amazing concrete parks, eat incredible food, explore the city, and swim in the springs (which was the closest thing to a shower we had experienced that week). We had all been to Austin before but never together which made it super fun. We then started our drive to Colorado and made Amarillo, Texas our midway stopping point, where we slept in the full pipe of a skatepark and woke up and rode it the next day.
FTE BATON ROUGE/HOUSTON
We {Mason, Rob, and James) woke up in Baton Rouge and rode a huge concrete skatepark, some famous street spots, and climb on a roof to see the city. James' car kept dying so we had to drive straight to Houston where they had the right battery for his car at a Costco. We almost lost Mason's bike on the way. We then slept in the Costco parking lot and got rained on all night, but at least James got to fix his car.
FTE NEW ORLEANS/BATON ROUGE
We (James Murphy, Mason Burke, and Robert Barranco) left for a 2 week long trip across the country from Orlando to Los Angeles. Our first stop was Milton, Florida to ride a skate-only park, so we had to be there at 6 in the morning if we wanted to ride. We moved on to New Orleans and Baton Rouge to explore the cities, rode a DIY skatepark, and somehow ended up at a metal show.
FTE FORSYTH
We drove to Georgia again with the goal of going to the only skatepark in the state we hadn't been to yet. We got there and found out there were 2 more skateparks we didn't know about. We also rode a DIY ditch spot in the woods, Rob jumped off some questionable things, James' dog Koa joined us and ran through some fields, and we slept in the car for two nights. And we obviously stopped at Cook Out. Successful weekend.
