At about 11 P.M. on a Tuesday, we got the approval to go to Woodward for 2 days. So as soon as we all got off work the next day we drove 16 hours straight through the night to make it to camp. James and I hadn't been there in over 5 years so it was like reliving our childhood. We only had a day and a half before camp was over for the summer so we did our best to make the most of it. James did so by falling so hard on the pump track that he couldn't ride for the rest of the trip.The whole idea for the trip came from us wanting to ride the new Cage bowl, which certainly didn't disappoint. And of course, like always, we had to find a place to camp in the middle of the night on both nights (housing was completely full on camp grounds.) Which only led to more interesting scenarios. Oh, and we went to Baltimore and Washington D.C. on the way home.
